Spiritual Protection Bath

This bath ritual is perfect for cleansing and protecting your aura from negative influences. Commonly used in spiritual practices for shielding and emotional grounding, it helps create a protective energy field around you while promoting mental clarity and emotional stability.

Ingredients:

  • Rosemary Sprigs (Rosmarinus officinalis): 2-3 fresh sprigs or 1 tablespoon dried
Rosemary has been used for centuries in both spiritual and medicinal practices. It is renowned for its protective qualities, warding off negative energies and helping individuals stay grounded. Spiritually, rosemary is used to create a protective barrier, guarding against emotional and spiritual harm. The invigorating scent promotes mental clarity, making it an ideal herb for emotional balance.

  • Sea Salt: ½ cup
Sea salt is a powerful purifier and cleanser. It is commonly used in spiritual baths for its ability to absorb negative energy and cleanse the aura. Sea salt not only works on a spiritual level but also exfoliates the skin and soothes irritation, making it an excellent addition to any cleansing ritual.

  • Lavender Oil (Lavandula angustifolia): 5-7 drops
Lavender is one of the most calming essential oils, known for its soothing effect on both the mind and body. Spiritually, lavender is often used in rituals for emotional healing and protection, helping to calm anxiety and release tension. The scent alone is enough to induce relaxation, but when combined with the rosemary and sea salt, it enhances the overall protective nature of the bath.

  • Black Tourmaline (Optional): 1 small stone
Black tourmaline is a powerful grounding stone used for protection against negative energies. Placing the stone near the bath or in the water helps amplify the bath’s protective properties. It acts as an energy shield, repelling any negative forces that may try to disturb your peace.

Preperation:

  1. Start by running a warm bath. As the water fills, gather your ingredients and begin to set your intentions. Visualize the bathwater becoming a source of protection and healing energy.
  2. Add ½ cup of sea salt to the bathwater. Gently swirl the water with your hand to help the salt dissolve completely. Sea salt not only purifies but also draws out any stagnant or negative energies from your body and spirit.
  3. Add 2-3 sprigs of fresh rosemary directly into the bath. If you’re using dried rosemary, you can steep it in hot water for 10 minutes and then pour the infusion into the bath. The rosemary will infuse the water with its protective and grounding qualities, helping to cleanse and shield your aura.
  4. Add 5-7 drops of lavender oil. The soothing scent of lavender will immediately begin to calm your mind and spirit. As it mixes with the warmth of the water, breathe deeply, allowing the scent to relax your body and release any tension.
  5. If you choose to use black tourmaline, place the stone in the bathwater or on the edge of the tub where it will remain close to you. As you soak, visualize the black tourmaline creating an energetic shield around you, protecting you from any negative influences.
  6. Soak in the bath for 20 minutes, focusing on deep breathing and visualizing a protective energy field surrounding your body. Imagine the sea salt, rosemary, and lavender creating a powerful shield, ensuring that no negativity can penetrate your space.
